Why should I order online?
Ordering online is a popular and convenient alternative to traditional shopping. Diva by Design dresses and gowns are all new garments and our custom couture collection enables you to browse an endless selection for design inspiration. It's like having 100 bridal stores at your fingertips. Not to mention ordering on-line saves you time, money, gas along with the stress of traveling all over town and out of town looking for the dress of your dreams. Sit in the convenience of your own home or office and choose between hundreds of gowns and dresses in a fraction of the time it takes to shop.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Allow 5-10 business days for in-stock items to arrive. Delivery times may vary per designer and/or collection and are estimates only. Custom bridal & formal orders typically take 6-8wks for delivery. Expedited/rush orders are also available, and can be placed for an extra fee. Please contact one of our experienced sales representatives for information regarding ordering, shipping, and receiving of expedited/rush orders.
Are there more dresses available than what I see on your site?
We are constantly evaluating new designers, and regularly add additional lines to our selection. Our mission is to offer a wide variety of styles to compliment any occasion that requires the perfect dress.
Do you make custom dresses?
Yes! Requests are subject to availability, please contact customer service for details and quotes. Estimated time of arrival for custom gowns is 6-8wks. We also offer no obligation quotes for a design you may be considering. Pricing typically starts at $499.
Can I purchase a gown over the telephone?
We are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have. Feel free to email service@divabydesign.net or contact our customer service department 1-919-794-3131 or 1-888-833-9484 for assistance. For your protection and optimum shopping experience, ALL dresses may be ordered via fax, mail or directly from our website. Doing so ensures order accuracy and compliance with all written terms and policies.
Do you have a brick and mortar salon or retail store?
No... we do not have a retail outlet at this time. Diva by Design, online boutique offers an incredible selection of exceptional quality gowns and trendy dresses at very affordable prices.
Do you accept returns?

Items received damaged may be exchanged for a replacement. If not replacement is available a full refund will be made.
-Designer & Custom Bridal & Formals
No. As is customary with bridal formal, special occasion and custom apparel we maintain a "All Sales Final" policy. We make only one exception to this rule, an even exchange may be given for manufactured defects only. All merchandise is inspected prior to shipping. In this rare occasion, the client would be responsible for shipping the dress back within 2 days of receiving the gown. Prompt return is of utmost importance so we can re-order your new dress as soon as possible. Standard delivery times apply. Once you have obtained a return authorization from us you have 5 business days to get the merchandise back to us. All merchandise must be returned in perfect brand new condition. Merchandise that is not returned in the condition it was sent will not be returnable and you will be obligated to the full purchase price. All returned packages must have a return authorization number on them.
Exchanges/Refunds must be requested within 2 days of receipt. A RMA or return authorization # is required. No returns are accepted without the RMA #. All returns must be unworn, unaltered with original hangtags intact. Items must not have any tears, smells or stains. Diva by Design reserves the right to approve or refuse any item returned that does not meet the requirements above. Refunds will be made in the payment form received.
Do you do alterations?
No we do not offer alterations at this time. We leave that up to the client so that you are present with a specialist in your area to make sure that your dress is a perfect fit. As part of our custom dress services, we do offer the option to have your dress custom sized.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we do. We welcome international clients. International orders may be subject to duty or VAT fees according to country requirements.
I placed an order, can I cancel it?
All orders are typically processed within 24hrs of receipt. Once you place an order, a automated receipt and confirmation will be sent by e-mail to confirm the order. Once an order is submitted it cannot be cancelled, as the manufacturer has begun processing your request and typically does not take formal garments back.
Will you notify me when my order is placed and when my order is shipped?
Yes, you will email for any order placed and also when your order is shipped. We provide tracking details for all bridal and formal orders.Please make sure you provide the correct email address when you are filling out the checkout form.
